About Shiv: Shiv Patel is a computer enthusiast living in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently manages two websites: Geeks on PC and Motivo Solutions. In his free time, Shiv enjoys to help the community with tech issues, write articles and create videos for Geeks on PC, and manage clients at Motivo Solutions. Shiv’s love for technology started at the early age of 10. Ever since he has been learning new and interesting things, that he hopes he can one day share with the rest of the world. He hopes to find his career in technology and business.
About the Site: Geeks on PC.com was originally started in August 2008 and its purpose was to provide how-to tech articles for Windows operating systems and commonly used programs including Adobe Photoshop and Firefox. After our switch to Host Gator and a re-design, we changed the purpose of the site to provide an informational tech blog with in-depth reviews and how-to tips. In addition to the blog we have added community powered forums where users can trade information and ask questions on anything tech related. We have also introduced a videos section where longer; more complicated processes are converted into how-to videos. As of this day, this new purpose has stayed in place, and we plan on keeping it this way.
